Apple butter hummus is a sweet and savory dip perfect for an after-school snack, lunchbox treat, or a healthy spread for a holiday gathering!

Apple Butter Hummus is a sweet and savory dip perfect for an after-school snack, lunchbox treat, or a spread for any event needing a quick and delicious appetizer.

Yep, you read that right. Apple butter hummus. It’s a thing. And a thing on repeat in my kitchen. If you’ve stepped foot in my kitchen or have seen me plate a snack or meal for my children, there are always two foods sure to hit their plates: Michigan apples. And hummus.

I’ve had the opportunity to pair to the two last year when I came up with the idea for these Apple Hummus Stackers. And more recently, with my sweet tooth on the full-alert post-holiday season, I’ve dreamed up this recipe for Apple Butter Hummus. Do you know what my kids told me after trying it? Keep dreaming Momma. You’ve got a good thing going in your sleep!

Apple Butter Hummus is a sweet and savory dip perfect for an after-school snack, lunchbox treat, or a spread for any event needing a quick and delicious appetizer.

No, really, recipe ideas do not come to me in my sleep. But it does feel like a dream being able to combine my passion for food and nutrition and share it with you all- and my hungry kiddos. And when they go for seconds with ANY recipe, I just have to post it. So, bring out additional Michigan apple slices, pretzels, brownie bites, or one BIG spoon, and get to licking and dipping with this Apple Butter Hummus. It’s what dreams are made of!

Recipe can be found on the Michigan Apples Website.
