10 Easy Grilling Recipes for Busy Weeknights

Apr 26, 2018 1 Comment

Welcome grilling season with 10 easy grilling recipes that you can have on your table in under 30 minutes. Perfect for those busy weeknights!

It’s that time of year again when Ted comes home from work and wonders if the back of the house is on fire as he pulls in the driveway. Yep, grilling season at the Serbinski’s! All joking aside [I’ll never claim to be the grill master of the family], since the weather turned this weekend [knocking on wood it stays], I’ve spent some time going through my grilling archives in cookbooks and this blog to bring back some of my favorite easy grilling recipes for spring and summer.

One of our first grilled dinners of 2018! Hot dogs, sausages, and sides. So easy and minimal planning required!

Whether you’re new to the blog or haven’t yet searched for easy grilling recipes on Mom to Mom Nutrition, I’ve got you covered with more than of few of my family’s favorites. Plus a few no-recipe grill meals that are standby’s [i.e. hot dogs anyone?!]. When Ted is typically grilling a main dish or protein, I’m inside either roasting or sautéing vegetables to go alongside. If it’s too hard to be at the stovetop and grill at once, then consider prepping your veggies on the weekend and reheating before serving. Or use a bag or two of frozen veggies you can microwave. What I love about grilling season is that mealtime does NOT seem complicated. In fact, it almost seems lighter on my stomach and easier for my brain. Don’t ask me why, but I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way!

Drumroll please….

I hope you found these easy grilling recipes as simple and tasty as my family does! Sometimes the best-grilled dishes have come from a simple bottle of salad dressing or BBQ sauce as well. My favorites? Italian dressing, balsamic dressing, and Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce [all for chicken, pork tenderloin, or certain cuts of beef]. Just marinate for a few hours and baste some extra sauce on the meat while grilling, and voila! You just have 3 more easy grilling recipes to try.
