Made with tender chuck roast, sweet and tangy BBQ sauce, and a hint of pineapple, this recipe is a family favorite that makes weeknight dinners effortless.

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs chuck roast
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • ½ cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Sandwich buns for serving

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Ingredients – Place the chuck roast in the slow cooker. Add the onion, minced garlic, pineapple chunks, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, and pineapple juice.
  2. Cook Low & Slow – Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until the beef is fork-tender.
  3. Shred the Beef – Remove the roast and shred with two forks. Return to the slow cooker and mix with the sauce.
  4. Assemble & Serve – Spoon the BBQ beef onto sandwich buns and serve with your favorite sides.
