Top 10 Energizing Snacks

Jan 8, 2015 15 Comments

Most days in the Serbinski house typically involve 2 slumps: one after my morning coffee and another during Joey’s [and now Anthony’s] afternoon nap. I’m working on powering through these down times with FOOD. I’m excluding coffee here [even though coffee sounds really good right now…]. So here you have it, my top 10 energizing snacks list:

Top 10 Energizing Snacks List

Why Energizing Snacks Over Coffee?!

I’m keeping this post short and sweet and super useful. We’ve hit week two as a family of four and yes, I’m feeling the exhaustion kick-in. This coffee obsessed Momma wants to turn to my buddy caffeine, but feeling the high’s and low’s associated with that relationship is not going to get me anywhere. So I’m turning to food- and that’s a very good thing! These energizing snacks contain just the right combination of fat, protein, and carbohydrates to keep me going [and satisfy my tastebuds].

How about you: what do you snack on to keep your energy up throughout the busiest of days?!
