Bring out your slow cooker for a full-of-flavor chicken fajitas dinner, made with lots of fresh vegetables and your favorite fajitas toppings.
A big thank you to Flatout Flatbread for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own [or my toddler’s].
Sometimes I take a cue from my husband when it comes to my cooking, and you know what? He is usually spot on! When I made a big batch of these slow cooker chicken fajitas last week, I texted Ted asking him to pick up some tortillas on his way home from work. Because he’s fairly conscious on the amount and type of carbs he eats each week [notice I said week; on the weekend he can’t pass up my homemade pizza], he suggested we enjoy the fajita meat on Flatout Flatbread. Catch the cue?!
Because we eat Flatout Flatbread sandwiches for lunch everyday [turkey, cheese, and avocado for Mom and Dad], we ALWAYS have 1-3 Flatout products on hand. His favorites are the Flatout Light flatbreads and Flatout ProteinUp CarbDown flatbreads. These flatbreads are big on flavor with no added sugar, while also being a terrific source of protein and fiber, making them a great choice for those looking for healthier flatbread options.
Whether you’re working on portion control or creating new mix and match ways to enjoy healthy recipes [i.e. Ted’s tip for enjoying these slow cooker chicken fajitas], all Flatout Flatbeads are a simple solution to creating quick, easy and tasty meals. And you don’t have to deprive yourself of the foods you love if you’re working to lose or manage your weight. Just check out our nutritional information, and remember to eat what you #FlatoutLove.
