Take it away Amanda!

Banana Split Bites are made with just 4 ingredients and are simple, healthy treats that are perfect for summer!

Hi! My name is Amanda and I am a registered dietitian, blogger and mom that writes at The Nutritionist Reviews. I am lucky enough to know Katie in real life. We met online and then got together in person for the first time right after her second son was born and have been friends ever since. Katie is an inspiration as a mom and as a dietitian blogger. I look up to her in many ways and love her tips for healthy eating for kids. I too love to create healthy recipes as well as write about fitness, nutrition and parenting. My daughter is almost two and lucky for me, is a great eater. I love to make healthy treats for her that she will love—> such as these delicious banana split bites!

These banana split bites are super easy to make and are fun for adults and kids. If your chocolate is not thin enough for dipping, add a bit of coconut oil to make it easier to dip. The fruit is rich in vitamins and fiber and provides enough sweetness to be a perfect snack or dessert.

When they thaw from the freezer do the banana’s turn brown? Any way to keep them from turning for a party treat that may sit for an hour?
