If you’re a fan of bento box lunches OR want to enter to win one, then I’d encourage you to take the Power Your Lunchbox Pledge to eat healthier this school year. Once a day, anyone who takes the pledge will be entered to win a Bentology bento box.

Be sure to visit the Produce for Kids Power Your Lunchbox Site August 8 through September 18 and get healthy lunchbox ideas, tips, coupons and more!

For every pledge taken, $1 will be donated to Feeding America® programs that benefit children and families across the U.S.

Along with lunch-packing ideas for parents, teachers can now get in on the action too.

PowerYourLunchbox.com has a complete teacher resource page with fun lesson plans, certificates for their students, take-home materials for families, and the ability to take the pledge as a classroom.

Every teacher that pledges will be entered to win a $500 school supply gift card.

Here are additional ways as to how you can get involved:

  • Take the pledge at poweryourlunchbox.com and share it with your friends.
  • Show off your healthy lunchboxes. Upload your healthy lunchboxes to Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #PowerYourLunchbox.
  • Party with Produce for Kids on Twitter. Join Produce for Kids and healthy lunchbox brands at the #PowerYourLunchbox Twitter party at 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday, August 17.

Thank you to Produce for Kids guest blogger, Amanda Keefer, and for the entire Produce for Kids team for sharing these great recipes and images! I’d be lying if I didn’t say I’m ready to pack school lunches… think I’ll change my mind when the big day comes?!
