You know that song that someone keeps singing on repeat and then you can’t get it out of your head? Yeah I’m talking about ALL of the classic children songs that seem to hit our shuffle in this house. But one day when I couldn’t get the darn apples and bananas song out of my head, it hit me: it’s time to bake some muffins!

So yeah, a big thanks to vowels and consonants and a few food staples in our house for inspiring me to create this recipe. Another big thank you to my toddlers who seem to enjoy a muffin or two in their preschool lunch or for an after preschool or nap snack. If your family loves muffins as much as mine, you might also like these popular muffin recipes on the blog:

And another BIG thank you to the Michigan Apple Committee for letting me share this recipe over on their blog today! Be sure to pin the recipe and save it for when those toddler tunes won’t stop playing.
