This is a big week for the beef industry in Michigan, folks. So big that I’m just going to link to the details here and you can read at your leisure.
But the even bigger story this week is that Lily-girl turns 7 on Friday.
And what does that tell you right there? That this negative-thinking brain of mine started this blog post with a sob-story about her busy Monday-Thursday. But the real gift here is being able to continue typing knowing that Friday brings light, laughter, and LOVE. We are celebrating all of that and more just thinking of Lily’s birth.
So, my plan for this week is to carry-on, and when agitated, stressed, or down-right bone-tired, I’ll do the same thing I tell the kids: Pause. Pray. Put one foot in front of the other.
Some more thoughts for the week ahead…
It’s never too late to re-start or reset your day.
What other people think of you is none of your business.
Phone a friend. Or connect with one that you haven’t talked to or seen in a few weeks, heck months. Tony did just that this past Friday!
Anyhow, if you need me, hold off until Saturday…
Actually, if you can, shoot me a note. Send me a text. Comment on this post. Heck, send me an email. It’s nice knowing we’re in this together and I could START my Monday asking for some good vibes for the busy week ahead. We’ve got this!
