Coffee Talk #1: We’ve Officially Started Summer

As you can imagine, blogging will be hit or miss this summer. My hope is to be able to share regularly, but without adding too much pressure on myself- I’m NOT making any promises. Additionally, I still only have one hand I’m typing with so… short and sweet it is!

Moms lost the movement in her right hand. This guy has been losing lots of basketball. We are in this together!

Are your kids in camps this summer? Maybe? Yes? Depends on the week and the kid. Joey is doing a few basketball camps. As for the rest of the crew, it’s Camp MOM! 

Camp Mom isn’t so bad… ice cream and splash pads FTW!
It might feel like fall, but these kids still want the water!

Are you working? Yes. One-handed. SOS. Happily taking suggestions on the best software or apps for limited function.

How’s recovery? I started attending AA everyday again and amazed at how much better I feel. Feel free to ask me if I’ve been to a meeting lately, because, wow, I LOVE MEETINGS. And I can quickly forget that. 

I also love that these 4 are aware Mom goes to meetings and that they are part Mom’s support team!

What else do you guys have planned this summer? We are taking things a day at a time at the moment. It works for us… for now! So, call, text, email, reach out! We’d love to play, eat pizza, and drink some coffee together 😉
