We are big sandwich people in this house. Ted usually packs one for lunch every day while I make one at home. If you’ve ever attempted ordering deli meat and cheese on the weekend you know there’s likely a wait. And waiting with small children is not easy. So when I placing my weekly Clicklist order I attempted to search for Boar’s Head Roast Beef and voila! I COULD PLACE MY DELI COUNTER ORDER FROM HOME. See how excited I am?! And then the development of this cheesy, veggie-packed roast beef hoagie sandwich ensued. I just love when that happens!

In all seriousness, grocery shopping has become 100 times easier since navigating the aisles from behind my computer screen. While we still visit Kroger 1-2 times a week for random items or another gallon of milk, there’s something to be said about not having to load up my crew and tackle an hour-long grocery store tour. As if I need to give you another reason that I love online grocery shopping with Kroger’s Clicklist program, this roast beef hoagie is my very reason. That and the melted provolone cheese. DUH!

There’s nothing fancy about this recipe. But then again nothing fancy is coming out of my kitchen these days.
