Frozen Yogurt Fruit Cups

June 9, 2016 By Katie

Frozen yogurt fruit cups are a fun cup-sized Greek yogurt and fruit snack that make a great alternative frozen sweet treat to popsicles or ice cream!

Frozen yogurt fruit cups might just be the messiest recipe to date I’ve let my boys eat. But believe me, the mess is worth it! And the boys couldn’t agree more. Whether they’ve enjoyed them for a post nap or post dinner snack, they always ask for more. If you’re wondering what makes them so special…. think about tasting an ice cream bar without all the guilt but with just the right amount of creamy sweetness— ok, Mom was thinking not, clearly not the boys!

I almost felt like these frozen yogurt fruit cups were too easy of a recipe to share, but then again my baby brain can’t quite get through the fog of the third trimester so I figure most of us are in a stage of just needing EASY recipes. Parenting does crazy things to one’s will or want to cook. And if you have fruit and yogurt in your fridge or freezer, then you’ve got what you need to make your own frozen yogurt fruit cups! No excuses!

Just make sure you have a washcloth or bath on deck for the kiddos once they eat one. Or two. Because the yogurt melts fairly quickly and sometimes those little mouths don’t move fast enough! [PS. I used these silicone muffin pans which made “popping” the frozen yogurt fruit cups out a cinch!]
