Looking back on Joey’s first year, I’d have to say some of our best family memories were made at the dinner table. Or high chair. Or me spooning food into his baby bird mouth. Honestly, it always seemed like we were eating together so we obviously enjoyed family mealtime. It wasn’t always cupcakes and warm milk— although I’m sure Joey would beg to differ. I was nervous to make the jump to solid foods, worrying was I giving him too much food? Not enough breastmilk and formula? So I spent some much needed time researching baby feeding tips and sample schedules. I exposed him to many different foods and relied on HIM to tell me when and how much he was going to eat. I also referenced other expert opinions to make sure I was doing this all right. and thought others mind find it useful too!

During your baby’s first year, proper nutrition is essential to their physical growth and cognitive development. I hope you’ve found Joey’s first year food diary helpful!
Ok- before I get into what we are experiencing at the start of the toddler stage, I need a snack! Or glass of wine. Or both. Joey’s only 15 months old and I’m finding he’s showing more toddler and less baby every day. Who needs to rush into the toddler stage?!

Great infant feeding guide. So many parents are confused about what to feed babies, this is very straight forward.
