Thank you to Flatout Flatbread for sponsoring this post! I highly recommend using one of the Flatout products as the base for your wrap!

While I’m not packing school lunch just yet, I’m making lunch every day for the boys at home— so I’d like to think I have something in common with the school lunch packing moms! If I’m not making classic grilled cheese or plating hummus and crackers for the duo, I’m putting together one other lunch: wraps. Don’t ask me why they’ll eat turkey and cheese on a wrap vs. sliced bread, but I’m cool with that. And honestly, I don’t dare question it. We have a good thing going!

Mom’s favorite wrap? Salami, provolone, mustard, and ProteinUp Flatout Flatbread.

When it comes to wrap recipes for lunch, there’s one wrap I’m using week after week, day after day, sandwich after sandwich. Flatout Flatbread. That shouldn’t come as a surprise to you if you are a regular visitor on the blog. I have a number of recipes using Flatout Flatbread here. Regardless of the Flatout product I choose [ProteinUp is my favorite!], I know I’m giving the boys plenty of whole grains, protein, and fiber in each wrap. That’s essentially the nutrition trifecta for kids- helping fuel their brains and bodies during the school day or day at home with mom. I even have Ted hooked, as he makes a Flatout Flatbread wrap for lunch. His fav mix n’ match combo? Turkey, cheese, avocado and tomato!

Here’s the cute little finished product. School lunch ready to go! But really, we took this one to the park!

So to inspire that school lunch goddess in you, I’m giving a list of my favorite mix n’ match wrap ingredients for school lunch [or a home or work lunch]. Pick and choose your favorites! And don’t forget to wrap it up with one of these Flatout wraps you can easily find in the deli section of your grocery store. Oh and please don’t judge my favorite wrap pictured above: salami and cheese. Really there’s nothing that reminds me more of school than the lunch I powered through 1st– 8th grade with!
