Whether you need an afternoon pick-me-up or a bite-sized dessert, these dark chocolate cherry no-bake bites are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

A few weeks ago I made a purchase at the grocery store that worried me. Not because this purchase wouldn’t taste good, but because I knew it would taste TOO good. And just like the feeling I get when I open a bag of BBQ potato chips, I wasn’t sure I would be able to stick to the recommended portion size. Want to know the culprit? Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter— from Peanut Butter & Co. Need I say more?

When dreaming up recipes to use this dark chocolate peanut butter goodness in I knew I needed to create something that would help with the portion control dilemma and include some pretty good-for-you ingredients like dried fruit and oats. So that’s how I came up with these dark chocolate cherry no-bake bites. The recipe name is a mouthful- and the bites will fill your mouth with SO much flavor! I’ve made these a few times this summer, freezing a batch, sharing some at the park with mom friends, and enjoying one or two with a glass of red wine after a busy day with the kids.

Bites, balls, bars, whatever you want to call them, are the ideal portion for toddlers. Joey clearly can’t get enough either.
