Grilled Strips Steaks for Meal Prep is the perfect option for prepping ahead so you’ll have protein-packed meals throughout the week. Grill the beef, pair with sides, and package for multiple meals!
Even if I was a registered dietitian for the bean commission or avocado board, I would still include a batch of grilled sirloin steak for meal prep every other week, or every week if it’s summertime. Why? Grilled Strip Steak is packed full of protein and other essential nutrients, it’s a leaner cut of beef, oh and guess what? The taste can’t be replicated. It’s also super versatile so whether I decide to serve as-is, marinade, or season, I know my family is going to have a good eating experience, no matter when I serve it. That’s where the meal prep idea comes in!
Mom: The Grill-Master
Nothing says summer in Michigan like beef on the grill. While I’m still learning my way around temps, timing, and yes, the seasoning and marinades, this summer I’m working on my grilling techniques with the help of multiple resources from Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner. AND some trial and error with my littlest taste testers.

Grilled Strip Steaks for Meal Prep Basics
I think you guys are seeing a theme with my recipes as of late in that there’s no real recipe here. Just take my simple trick for grilled Strip Steaks paired it with a simple pasta salad + roasted or grilled veggies, and refrigerated until ready to serve. Guess what? You might like this combo cold- sort of like cold pizza. You can’t go wrong with cold steak, especially when it’s cooked to perfection and served with another cold side dish like pasta salad.

And just for fun: I learned something new when creating this recipe from the Michigan Beef Industry Commission’s Executive Director [George]. Strip Steak, New York Strip, Kansas City Strip, Top Loin are all the same thing. So when you’re at the meat case and want to recreate this recipe idea, then look for labels and steaks with that name!
