Veggie Sauté with Garlic and Soy Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ red bell pepper, sliced thin
  • ½ yellow bell pepper, sliced thin
  • ¼ yellow onion, sliced thin
  • 1 cup green beans, washed and trimmed
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds [optional, not pictured]
  1. Combine soy sauce, honey, and garlic in one bowl.
  2. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add peppers and onions and saute 5-7 minutes, or just until tender.
  3. Add soy sauce mixture. Cook an additional 5 minutes stirring consistently.
  4. Top with sesame seeds, if desired.
