Serves: 4-6 servings

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1-pound pizza dough- homemade or store bought
  • ¾-1 cup pizza sauce- homemade or store bought
  • ½ cup fig spread
  • ¼ pound thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups fresh arugula
Instructions
  1. Prep pizza dough, OR if you use store bought pizza dough, let it rest at room temperature for at least an hour.
  2. Preheat over to 500 degrees [or as high as the temperature will go].
  3. Brush baking sheet with olive oil. Stretch pizza dough and place on baking sheet so it’s at least ½ inch thick, shaping it however you’d like.
  4. Top pizza dough with sauce and prosciutto slices.
  5. In a microwaveable safe dish, heat fig spread for 15-20 seconds. Drizzle over prosciutto slices.
  6. Top with mozzarella cheese. Bake for 12-14 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Slice before serving. Serve with a ¼ cup of arugula per pizza slice.
Notes
Prep Time for this recipe depends on if you make your own sauce and dough. I typically use store bought dough and let it rest at room temperature for at least an hour before spreading on baking sheet. Sauce takes about 15 minutes to make.
